These terms apply when you request or book grooming for your dog or cat with Clique Pet Grooming, and when you use this website. Please read them before your first appointment.

About us

Requests and appointments

Sending the request form on this website, or emailing us, is a request only. An appointment is confirmed once we have replied by email and agreed a day, time and the treatments to be carried out. The price for your pet's groom is agreed with you before the appointment.

Telling us about your pet

Please tell us, before the appointment, about anything that affects how we groom your pet safely: their age, any health or skin conditions, recent surgery, medication, anxiety, or a history of biting or scratching. If circumstances change between booking and the appointment, let us know.

Your pet's welfare comes first

• If your pet becomes very stressed or grooming would put them or our staff at risk, we may pause or stop the session and contact you.
• Heavily matted coats sometimes cannot be brushed out without causing pain. In that case we may recommend clipping the coat short. We'll talk to you before doing this wherever possible.
• If we find fleas or other parasites, we'll let you know. We may need to rearrange the appointment so other animals aren't affected.
• We are groomers, not vets. If we notice something that looks like a health concern, such as sore skin, lumps, ear problems or dental issues, we'll mention it so you can seek veterinary advice. Our observations are not a diagnosis.

Changing or cancelling

If you need to change or cancel an appointment, email us as early as you can so we can offer the slot to another pet. We'll do the same if we have to rearrange on our side.

Collection

Please collect your pet at the time we agree. If you're delayed, contact us so we can make sure your pet stays comfortable.

Our responsibility

We groom with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law. Your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

The content on this site describes our services and is provided for general information. Please don't copy the site's design or text for commercial use without our permission.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
